Reno, known as “The Biggest Little City in the World”, is famous for its casinos, and is the birthplace of the Gaming Corporation Harrah’s Entertainment. Reno is the second largest gaming place in Nevada State. It is called the gateway of outdoor activities. Reno sits in a high desert valley at the foot of the Sierra Mountains. The river Truckee flows through Reno and Sparks and the river has been sculpted in to a half mile whitewater park which is used mainly for kayaking, fishing, and swimming.
